Polo Set At Pebble Sunday


  High Goal polo returns to Pebble Beach Sunday when Bob Skene and Bill Atkinson captain their teams to play at Collins Field in Pebble Beach.

  Skene a 10 goal player from Santa Barbara will conduct a polo school next week at the Robert Louis Stevenson School.  Atkinson, a six goal player from the Menlo Circus Club was a member of last year's Open Championship team. Also playing will be Victor Graber of Oakland, Russell Corey, a student at the Army Language School, Bob Murray and Bob Ackerman 3 goals, both from the Wildhorse Ranch in Napa, Sue Sally Hale, Sleepy Hollow Farms- the only woman to play men's polo, and Richard Collins, director of the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center.

  Skene and Atkinson will select their teams on the basis of goals to make the match even. The public is invited to attend the 2:30 p.m. game at no charge. There will be a preliminary match at 1:00 played by local teams.
